Roark is a Technical Director who is currently an M.F.A. Candidate in Technical Direction at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Roark earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Technical Production from Texas State University. They have  previously worked at The Colorado Shakespeare Festival as an Associate Technical Director, The Utah Shakespeare Festival as an Assistant Technical Director, and at iStudioProjects helping design and install rigging systems.

In their free time,  Roark enjoys baking, weightlifting, running, and spending time with their partner.
